As Manager Emergency Response for Shell Companies in Nigeria between  August 2012 – March 2017, he coordinated and safely resolved over 140 major operational emergencies across the company’s footprint in Nigeria. He managed $2.5Million capital budget and $10Million recurring operating budget annually for eight consecutive years and coordinated a team of 84 tier-1 emergency responders comprising of Aviation Rescue Fire Fighters and Specialist Oil Field Fire fighter, Oil Spill Tactical Control team (Forcados and Bonny Oil and Gas terminals, Medical evacuation and Site Support team, Five Emergency Operating and Coordination Command Centre staff and administrative personnel.

He successfully designed and independently facilitated emergency response drills and exercises that covered such credible scenario as high-rise structural fires, major offshore oil spill, helicopter ditching with multiple casualties in the swamp, Ebola outbreak within company facility, election induced security threat to mention a few.

He provided subject matter expertise as safety and environmental specialist for six (6) regional HSSE audit of Shell Assets in Africa, Europe and North America during his 22 years in the Shell Group.
